hit hard on the kopt. >> and the lead investigator of the national transportation safety board told us that they are currently in the fact gathering phase, meaning they won't be able to determine the cause of the accident for a while. any under lying there is no speculating at this time. we want to show you a picture of the pilot of the single engine plane that went down last night. this 35-year-old. on board were his wife and sons. they took off last night on the way to pine lake mountain about 26 miles west of yosemite. here is cell phone video given to us by a witness. this crash occurred after taking off from a local airport. witnesses say the plane took a nosedive ended hitting a medical office building. here is how the they're

during the second inning of the game. and the all star retrieved the ball intending to give a fan a souvenir, lobbed it into the stands. shannon stone, hoping to get the ball for his son reached over the railing caught the ball and tumbled head first to his ultimate death. waits a 20 foot drop. the man sitting next to mr. stone knew this was serious. >> this looked awful. you knew there is no way he's going to, you know land on his feet. he had to--he disappeared. it looked like waits on his head. >> this afternoon a former client says the tragedy strikes at the core of baseball. >> grabs it to the core of what we're about. memory wez try to make in this game. for our fan autos this incident was similar to one a year ago when a plan fell 30

weekend and into next week. temperatures going to bottom out. by 5:00 in the morning more fog around the bay. starting to burn back to the coastline z by afternoon fog just sort of lingering with highs there into up year r50s to near 60. 60s to 70s around the bai. 70s to low to mid-80s tomorrow. into the south bay, sunny skies, highs from 7 to 80 in san jose. and there is low to mid-70s for the most part up to 77 in mountain view. and there is mid to upper 50s on the coast. there is 63 degrees downtown tomorrow norjs bay highs from 75 in san rafael to 84 in cal stoga. near east bay highs into mid-60s to mid-70s near monterey bay 60s to about 71. here is the accu-weather forecast.

tense talks over raising the nation's debt limit got more difficult today. >> very disappointing jobs report shows the economic recovery slowed to a crawl. >> and mark matthews is in the newsroom with numbers and their impact. mark? >> it's republicans and democrats are point together job growth numbers as a stark sign something needs to be done. analysts expected jobs to grow by over 100,000 in june. instead numbers came in at just 18,000. and unemployment rose to 9.2%. the president blamed uncertainty over raising the nation's debt limit. >> uncertainty over whether the debt limit will be raised if also made businesses hesitant to invest aggressively. >> republicans jumped on the number as evidence of the obama administration's failing. >> we have three big problems. we have a spending problem and
